The original Bath Hotel opened for business on the 13th of March 1856 on land adjacent to current location. It was relocated and rebuilt in the bluestone to the corner of Queen Street & Parade Norwood where it stands proudly today.

For the last 18 years the reins of the Bar Hotel has been held by the Franzon Family.
